Glensheen examines the 1977 Duluth murders of heiress Elisabeth Congdon and her nurse.

Glensheen, the dark musical written by playwright Jeffrey Hatcher and composed by Chan Poling, examines the 1977 Duluth murders of heiress Elisabeth Congdon and her nurse Velma Pietila and addresses the issues of mental illness, murder and the State’s justice system. Glensheen was developed and produced by History Theatre’s Artistic Director Ron Peluso.
