Season 1

The Peaceful Garden | When a local farmer is found dead, Ridley is called on by his ex-colleague and newly promoted DI Carol Farman to assist on a missing persons case that remains unsolved after 13 years.

Hospitality | When the body of a young woman is found buried in a shallow grave on a bleak Pennine moorland, Carol calls in Ridley to assist with the case. But the victim was not all she seemed to be. Ridley discovers she was leading a secret double life. 

Swansong | After a chance encounter with jazz singer Eve Marbury, Ridley agrees to help find Eve’s brother Luke, missing for forty years.

The Numbered Days | Ridley and Carol are called out to investigate the suspicious death of a man after a fall from his balcony. The prime suspect is the victim’s younger brother.

Season 2

A Sleeping Tiger | Ridley investigates a jewellery heist that turns into a murder case, working with an undercover source whose cover risks being compromised when she gets too close to the gang.

The Hollow Tree | When a decomposed body is discovered in the woods, Ridley investigates and brings in disgraced ex-cop Jean Dixon to help solve the case, despite their past conflicts.

Fool for Love | A man is shot dead during an illegal rave on a building site. Ridley investigates and Carol is worried about her son Jack.

The Memory Jar | In the picturesque village of Colden Vale, local wife and mother Tara Dunning has gone missing. Ridley and Carol are called in to investigate, with the hope of finding her before it’s too late.
